We’re pretty excited about the Reebok CrossFit event happening in our Exeter store on Saturday January 25th 2014.
The day will be packed full of CrossFit action including the opportunity to take part in fitness challenges, fitness tests with a Reebok Master Trainer, competitions to win Reebok goodies accompanied by a DJ in store who will be playing the latest workout tunes to get you in the CrossFit zone.
If you haven’t heard of it before, CrossFit is the ultimate physical challenge which combines numerous aerobic, weightlifting and gymnastic-based exercises. Invented by American Greg Glassman, it has gained a huge following.
It’s not just something that appeals to archetypal gym bunnies, it has seen thousands of gym-phobic people become obsessed. From couch potato to CrossFit champion; the variety, pace and competition keep people coming back for more.
Bought to the UK by Reebok, it is gaining momentum rapidly with particular hot spots in London, Manchester and Bristol and the latest event in Exeter will be taking it further in to the South West.
The in-store event celebrates the opening of Intersport Tony Pryce Exeter’s Reebok Hub which stocks the latest CrossFit performance gear. On the day visitors to the store will be able to find out more about CrossFit from Reebok Master Trainer, Matt Ford and will be able to test their fitness levels with a series of challenges.
There will be demonstrations by CrossFit athletes and the opportunity to win some great prizes courtesy of Reebok. Plus, if you think it could be your thing, you can sign up to the national Reebok Fit League where you can begin competing with other CrossFit participants.
The in-store activities will be given extra edge with a DJ who will be playing the latest workout tunes to get you in the CrossFit zone.
The store opens at 9.00 am and closes at 5.30 pm - Reebok’s team will be there throughout the day and you can meet Intersport Tony Pryce’s dedicated CrossFit sales assistant who will be able to help you with product advice on the day.
